I need to add a brake controller to my stepfathers 04 f250 post haste. Normally I'd send him down to the place that did my trucks. they put in an activator 2 ( drawtite? ) add the wiring and breaker or fuse.. ends up about 30 minutes anfd 100$ as long as you already got a 6 pin or 7 pin connector. however.. they are booked and he will nee dthe truck on monday. His truck already has the 7 pin connector. My dodge used a circuit breaker, and my gmc used a huge fuse under the hood. Both of them had the option plug under the dash, and it looks like it just plugs into the controller. Any hints on this ford? I assume, i get the controller, and plug it in.. then add a fuse or circuit breaker????? I'll likely use the controler that TSC sells. A guy at work has one.. and it is 'functional.. though not as feature rich as mine.. or like some of the other hi-dollar units.. etc.. Soundguy
