well I Would go with what the other guys said, but one other way I have seen done, is to cut a strip out of an old tire and bolt that onto the bottom of the blade.. so that it's riding on rubber.. the snowplow on my 73' came with both shoes and rubber.. but it looks to me that the rubber is around 100 years old. lol
