Mark: A lot of folks have found those 5000 series Deere's to be weak sisters. I have a friend that bough one new, kept it 9 months and traded it. The reason, it just didn't have pull power. I've heard of several others, owners just not happy. I clicked on the site of a Deere dealer the other night. Called Planters Equipment, they must have a boat load of 5000 series tractor for sale. In fact I know the area quite well, didn't think they had that many customers.
