Say what you will, but I rather enjoy his posts. While Calculus, Physics, Organic and Biochemistry are fine courses, they still pale in comparison to a man who can look at the sky and tell if it"s time to plant the potatoes. My college professors could have learned a few things from the old folks back home. I have personally watched an engine block be destroyed by a learned man, while a fellow that had never left the holler set 4 sleeves using a homemade lightbulb setup and a freezer. And my internet ain"t gonna work without the power he provides with his "Yeller Cats". Cheers, Aaron

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
