26 degrees F and snowing like a b*tch in Stoughton, WI! Kind of makes me thankful that I don"t live in Florida and have a snowmobile payment! I really don"t mind the winter weather at all. Sure driving becomes more of a challenge, but with patience it"s not too bad. Think of all the great things that come with the winter: sledding, hot chocolate, cute girls at the ski hill...what more could a guy ask for? Not to mention more time on the tractor plowing snow! Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
