It is cable shifted, with the cable operating a bellcrank on the top left side. There is a ball detent that locks it into forward , nuetral, or reverse. Looks like I may be needing a case and exploded views, along with wear specs for the clutch plates I assume are inside. It calls for type A fluid.. I know it doesnt like type F, and dextron III / mercon is my next best guess.. Some have suggested 20 W engine oil to boost performance.. Any ideas?
