PHOTO - Now this is a GOOD tractor

Hi; Of all the US tractors imported during WW2 under Lend-Lease, the Allis model U has the highest reputation. The older farmers & custom operators all loved these "U"s for their outstanding engine torque especially when powering threshing machines by belt pulley - almost impossible to stall however high the load. Yes other models like the W9, Oliver 90 & MM GTA were higher HP, but the U is the one here thats most talked about with fondness & reverance. Cheers David
