Allan, I think I follow ya on that line of thinkin'.... CaCl seems to evoke opinions like nuclear power. Either ya love it or hate it.... and the ones that hate it, hate it because something might go wrong someday. I've got to say that I've changed quite a variety of wheels over the years. Only one was from CaCl, and that one was allowed to leak for years (probably 5)... and the wheel could have been repaired. I've yet to see CaCl eat a dry wheel. I've got some around here that haven't had a valve cap off in 15 years. Most of the wheels that I've changed have been from stress failures or manure eating them away... CaCl isn't the boogeyman it's made out to be in my mind, if the wheels are maintained and not allowed to leak.... But, to each their own.... Rod
