I will let the guys with more experince chime in here on the pros and cons of tractors you can get at that price range. You will be looking at a used tractor for sure and only 2wd. I would go to the dealers and see what they may have on their lots just to get an idea of what is available in that price range. You will still need to purchase the Brushhog on top of the tractor purchase price. If you are able to work on your own tractor the better you will be. Read through the articles on the link below.
