Allan, I couldn't agree with you more. From the start this thing was blown all out of proportion and not handled in the best possible manner. I think the fact that Kim's comments to Howard were stated publicly on the forum alienated some of the guys. I personally feel that it could have been handled more effectively in an e-mail to Howard. To his credit, Howard has always said that Kim had the right to say what she said. He didn't argue. He hasn't said anything negative, and he's now doing his thing on the other site. While other folks will be posting on the other site as well, I think that many people will be checking and posting on both. There's room for all and I think it's good to have a choice. Tim

12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
