I have a 48 JD A and it's my big work tractor. I used a 48 B in the woods for years. then I got a Farmall Super C. What a great woods tractor. Handy and very maneuverable. Never had any expeience with a 300 or 350 Utility but do use my Ford 2N in the woods. All of that having been said, the one thing that hasn't been mentioned in any of the posts so far si the clutch situation: that JD hand clutch just isn't handy in the woods.
