Thanks for the year of manufacter. Might you know of some JD websites that I might find some info about the JD 2940? We have a local 2940 MFWD that I'm looking at ($13,500), but want to ensure this was one of JD better models. I know its 80hp, dual hydraulics, etc. thanks again Paul

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
