My dad had one in the '70's. I liked the loader. It had down pressure and an automatic levelling setting so that I could do a good job on the landscaping of my new house.

With the differential lock it was better in mud than my MF35.

The downside of the 414 was that the diesel engine was so hard to start Dad plugged it in in spring and fall, as well as winter. Without power steering it was a chore to steer when loading. It smoked enough that my dad wore a gas mask while running it, and eventually he traded it on a gas tractor.

A 414 is a nice size for general purpose use. Is it Mahindra which builds a copy of it?
