Stopped at Timberlodge Steakhouse in St. Cloud Mn yesterday with the wife. I ordered the ribs and she ordered the "feild and Stream" mix and match. She ordered the steak and walleye. Well she started eating the fish and it was full of small bones. I said to give me a bite- It was fricken northern pike and them were Y bones. Tasted like crap. Complained to server and he says "Oh well it is Pike some times is you wanted the Walleye you have to order the Walleye dinner. Well the freaking menu said WALLEYE fillet, nothing but pike. They did give her 3 broiled shrimp to make up . Did not lower price, manager didnt apologize for the scam or anything. I will not be returning to A Timberlodge ever again and will let people know our expeirience, what a scam, They seem to think that we Minnesotans cant tell the difference beween Walleye Pike and Northen Pike. Pricks.
