Yes, that is what I wanted to know. Just the design of how others keep thier fuel oil clean. Thanks The purifier I was refering to is really called a centrifuge separator. We had them on ships to clean the fuel oil before the filters. I never priced one but wondered if it would save any to have one. I think not but I was wondering if any of the large operations (or small) had them to make sure the fuel was clean. We pushed a barge which we sometimes carried 18 and a half million liters of diesel of gasoline of jet fuel. It was surprising how much crud was in the bottoms of the tanks when we cleaned it out. All the ships had these separators because it would be costly if water or crud did get into the fuel system. Also it could be costly if the engines quit because of crud and when aground. So I am just wondering what others do to ensure thier fuel is clean. I might learn something and do as they do. Thanks
