Yep, BTDT! Setting tobacco on an MF 50 gasser with the rear exit exhaust, right at my back. In a hollow surrouded by trees with no wind. Got so bad I had a plant in both hands waving them around in a circle while my Uncle tried to keep up by himself. I rolled off that thing and could only crawl away. Took about 4 or 5 hours to get the cobwebs out. Don"t ask what happens when you are deprived of oxygen at altitude either!
