Piston sleeve RR

Just got done removing and replacing piston liners in an Allis D14 engine. The old liners came out hard but the new ones went in EASY! Is it normal for new liners to slip in with just minimal tapping to get them by the o-rings? (I heated the block and froze the liners before putting them in) Do I need to worry that they are not tight enough in the block? Am installing new pistons currently. Thanks
