My great-uncle bought a diesel 3000 new in 1970 and you couldn't find a better tractor for making square bales. We still use it today and it has over 10,000 hours with no major repairs needed. I like John Deere but the 3000 is my square bale tractor and always will be.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
