If you are going to use the 4 wheel drive and you are talking about newer years the Wrangler TJ series are great. Look for the Rubicon package and you will get 3/4 ton Dana 44 axels with 4:10 gears and a low granny transfer case. The Rubicons also have electric locking differentals. The 2007 Rubicon is the best Jeep ever built. Same as above but crome-molly axels and a V6 from the Caravan. The regular old Cherrokees from the 80's to 2002 were great for 4 wheeling also. Different years have different qualities I pick the 97-98 but I wheel them hard. The Grand Cherokees had an option called Quadra-DRIVE. Not quadra-trac. This is the Grand of choice especially with the V8. You usually find Quadra drive on the limited's. Stay away from the old CJ's. No overdrive and they beat you to death. If you find a clean CJ 7 middle 80's all stock with a hard top you can resell them easy if you find one cheap under 3800. If you want the best bang for the buck go to the new car lots and tell them you are looking for a Cherrokee and that you are a wholesaler. These things are getting too old to resale on there lots and they just auction them off anyway. I paid 3500 for a 98 with 133k on the odometer and my bud just found a real clean 93 5 speed this way for 2600. Denver has a good market for these and you can probably to better else ware. Email me if you have any specific questions on the one's you think may work. One more thing is they made Cherrokes and Grand Cherrokes in 2 wheel drive so find out befor you get too excited. They all get crappy gas milage also.

Old Time Threshing - by Anthony West. A lovely harvest evening late September 1947, I was a school boy, like all school boys I loved harvest time. The golden corn ripens well and early, the stoking, stacking,.... the drawing in with the tractors and trailers and a few buck rakes thrown in, and possibly a heavy horse. It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
