12 yrs ago I pulled a 3500gal BetterBuilt with a 1086 in some soft ground. It handled it well in the field, it was scary on the road. I pulled it once with a White 2-105, it just wasn't enough tractor, it had the power, but it just didn't handle it well. I would look for a 5088 w mfwd, but the 15K kind of limits you. Maybe a 2294 Case? I think the best idea is what the other guys are saying about a 2+2. A 3388 would be perfect for the job, and decent ones can be found for under $10k. Rob
