Duke Energy owns 39 percent of each of the 4 units (Dayton owns 35 percent and AEP owns 26 percent of each unit). J.M. Stuart Station is located in the Reliability First region and Duke Energy’s share of generation is dispatched into the Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator (MISO). Duke Energy’s share of the units is governed by the Ohio/Duke Rate Stabilization Plan.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
