Problems with IH, WD9 injector pump

I am having a problem with the injector pump on a WD9. After several hours of operation, the oil in the injector pump sump becomes diluted with diesel fuel. I have replaced the input shaft seal on the scavenging pump (mounted on the rear of the injector pump assembly). I have cleaned the scavenging valve and other external check valves.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Has anyone had direct experience with this pump to know whether or not diluted sump oil will cause catastrophic failure?
