I work 10 hours shifts in a machine shop, and if I'm at the wrong machine without a mat I can get pretty sore. Mostly I just get stiff legs from not moving around enough, but that's kinda normal. Bad boots will tear you up too, I like the Timberlands I have now, I hear Doc Martins are great but I can't quite afford those. Maybe I can now, but at the last shop I was at I'd have the toe busted out in 3-6 months and I'd go as long as I could on them. Didn't matter how much the boot cost, they all went to heck in about 8 months max. Worse ones were Caterpillar boots, they didn't make it 3 months. Also, if you were ever a wrestler (or any other intense sport) like I was for 9 years of my life, you'll notice that you have a few aches and pains from some old injuries. I got lucky and don't have too many related to sports, but my brother, who's 27, has arthritis and had to have one of his knees scoped already because he wrestled up into college. He can't stay on his feet for more than 1 hr and he's starting to hurt a little. He's in good shape, but he's built like a brick siht house, and he's really short and stocky. Weighs a solid 220 on a 5'5" frame. I could be in better shape and I know I'd probably feel a little better if I were back in my wrestling shape (probably about 20 pounds away from being in great shape, but 40-45 pounds from my old wrestling weight) Long story short- Gotta be in decent shape, have good boots, and preferably a work mat to stand on. Any old High School injuries will start to work their way out on ya once you get a few years away. Donovan from Wisconsin

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out. After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
