Hi Bill,

I drained some choclate milk Hy-tran out into 5gal buckets and covered for a year with trash bags.

After a year the Hy-tran was very clear at the top, looked new. Down at the bottom maybe 1-1/2gals was a throw away as it had too much water and trash in it. I filtered it and used it to top off with. I didn"t see a problem with it.
