There should be some off-the-shelf replacement part that should work, it just has to have an equal or higher amperage reading. I have a 92 Cummins Dodge. There have been several times that it would have been nice to over-ride the manifold heater... Say it is 50 degrees, battery is low (this truck sits a lot) The heater kicks in, & robs the power you need to run the starter.. I have wondered about a manual switch, but it would have to be tied into a thermostat, and you would have to remember to turn it off...

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead!
