The cab tractors use a loom to power up all the systems in the cab plus they come back out of the cab again to power the air conditioning compressor. The cab loom threads up and connects to the main tractor loom upstairs behind that upper gauge panel. I'm such an old fuddy-duddy when it comes to being "authentic" and just won't "snip" the wires. Just can't bring myself to do that; gotta take 'em one at a time out of their connectors. :>( When I get done, I want both tractors as close as humanly possible to the original factory setup and that's why I took the time to go "electic fishing". :>) Allan

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
