Susan: This is a 140 tractor with fast hitch, I presume. Is this a one or two bottom plow? Do you have any photos you could post or e mail to me? Does your tractor have the linkage from front of hitch, up to right rockshaft beside fuel tank? That linkage does control plow depth, and is controlled by hydraulic lever closest to the throttle. If that linkage has been removed and front of hitch pinned to bottom of platform, you will never get that plow in ground, even if you weld 6" to plow points. If you are in question of what I'm talking about send me an e mail. I think I have some photos scanned showing how this works. Tell me or show me a bit more about your plow, ie the questions I asked. We'll have you plowing in no time.
