I tried to use a homemade bottom on a 100 "bout 10 years ago and all I could do wuz git it to slide across the top of the ground. After I exhausted myself mess"in wif it so never tried it again, still have the plow so one day may take a nutter try wif it. I had a nice IHC 2 bottom made fer it but cuzz my 100 or 140 never have to do enny hard werk I sold it. I am sure a 140 will git’er"done done if set up rite. I do have a arsenal of tractors that are plow"in fools so use them to break land. I am not sure if the info on my web site applies to a 140 but would think it would have the same basics, click on Hobos and enter the barn door fer sum plow"in tips, hope this helps.
