Well, I bought it anyway. It turned out to be a 1947 or 48 (no serial plate). I gave the widow of the seller (he passed away suddenly last summer) $650. I didn't try too hard to turn the engine over, so it may not be stuck. ( I haven't loaded it up yet) Found the front grills also. So the tractor is complete (except for the lights and seat cushion). After hearing your replies on the prices of a power block, I don't feel too bad about it. I took about 30 pictures, so if anyone is interested, they can take a look at it. Will bring it home to Midland, MI real soon. Thanks for all the help, you guys are great.
