Hope every one is having a happy new year! Spent the weekend tinkering with my red tractors. Got the 706 running again. Rebuilt the carb and she started right up. Then moved over to the 400 and did some electrical maint on her. New amp gauge and a new regulator. Still not sure if its charging or not. I polorized the gen with a short on the bat and A term. Gauge just shows about 10 amp on the neg side. Pulled the steering arm off the Swartz wide front only to find I had purchased a right side arm instead of the left. D'oh Then moved over to the H and rebuilt the carb on that one also. Next weekend maybe I will pull the head on the 300 and take it in to get redone.
