Here is the deal.I am having to raise a beef calf because her mama died giving birth. The calf is 5 weeks old and I noticed she is having trouble getting up and walking. Her knees, front and back are swollen pretty bad,so I took her to the vet today and he said she had something called naval infection.I have done this all my life and never heard of it.He gave her a shot and told me she proably won"t get any better. The infection gets in thru the naval cord and settles in her joints and that there ain"t much you can do for them. Have any of ya"ll heard of this mess? Thanks Bigun
