Well, John, if I have an agressive cancer, and my twin brother doesn't, you could say that would be the only diference between us; unfortunately for me,it could be a debilitating or fatal difference...so sometimes a slight difference can be enormous and far-reaching in it's effects. The GMO'ers are all assuring us it's all perfectly safe, while at the same time spending millions (billions?) to quash any eforts to identify the finished product as containing GMO's...ordinarily every minor improvement is hailed far and wide by ad agencies as the greatest thing since fire, the wheel and stretch jeans, but this baby they're trying to hide from us...It's perfectly true we've modified things for thousands of years, within phyla/species, but this is an indescibably more powerful undertaking, with no real knowledge of whether we're soaring like the eagles or walking off a cliff...
