Yep, and you can die in a Ford Festiva too. Your right about needing respect, my dad just a day or two ago mentioned a wreck involving a car just like mine back 4yrs ago, but alchohol was involved. It was a father and son who died in it, the owner of the car was the father, but the son was driving and the police figgured out he was speeding down the highway, and lost it at around 130mph, and went right into a utility pole, which they hit so hard they broke that off and continued on into a clump of trees. The wreck was so hard, that it broke the motor loose and that was thrown way beyond the trees out into a field, and everything out front got pushed into the back seat. The car was so twisted and smashed that you really couldn't tell what it was anymore. It was a closed casket funeral and it was a brother and father of one of the kids I knew in high school. But that doesn't stop me from enjoying my car, but they are not for everyone, if you have no self control and are the type that will drive it to the floor all the time, they are not for you, but if you just enjoy having a car thats got a little power to play a little while still trying to be safe, they are alot of fun. I am also proud of the things I do to it to make it look pretty and I am proud of doing most of my own wrenching on it. Make it your motto to have your fun and not hurt anybody and you will be fine.

After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
