You are right; I had the wame questions when I saw the article. In fact, I read it twice for some technical/historical info. on the tractor, thinking I'd missed something the first time through. I, too, have never heard of a TD4. I grew up in a town that had a large industrial I-H dealer and my uncle used TD-6's , TD-9's and TD-14's in his logging operation. But--I have to assume it's a real, bonafide I-H offering. Someone above said that ranchers in the Sand Hills of NE used them. I do fault "Red Power" for not anticipating the questions that would be raised by the lack of information in the article. I would have required more technical information and historical background before deciding to use the article.
