I think it was in 1979 - a farmers demonstration drive to Washington D. C. to demand "parity". In other words, better prices for grain. I was just a kid, but the idea was raise grain prices more to a level with everything else that had increased in price. I was at an auction a couple of months ago that had a JD 4020 that if you looked close, you could see red, white, & blue under the JD green. They said it had been painted for the drive to DC and had gone all the way up and back... Howard H.
