If you have enough time and welding rods you can put anything in anything. Don't know about a CAT V8 in a 770 for field work though. Seems kinda over kill plus I am not sure the tranny or rear end would hold up to almost triple the horsepower of what it is supposed to handle. However if you do the conversion post pics as it would be neat. Don't think any pull I know of would let you pull that setup in an (out of field) pull though. Exibition maybe:)
