tin roofs

Am sick with flu and missed checking the net for a day or two. Some were taliking about putting tin roofs on. My experience has been that it is better to use screws rather than nails to fasten the tin on. The wind flexing the tin will work nails loose. They make special galvanized screws with a neoprene washer under the head for roofs. I have also had better results using oak sheeting, at least around the edges, since oak holds nails or screw better. KEH
