Bill; My dog, Bandy, adopted me last winter. Showed up here one snowy morning. Was very timid and scared till I petted him and has been my buddy since. He enjoyed playing in the snow and trying to catch it from the spout of the blower. After 3 days my neighbor told me where he lived, so I took him home. Nobody there that night, but he seemed to know his way around. Thought that deal was over till he showed up 6 weeks later, still looking for a friend. Took him back home the next day and still no one home. I finally called them later to make sure I was taking him to the right house. The lady told me later they weren't able to give him the attention he needed and were considering finding a new home for him. Gave her my phone number and told her not to call anyone else. The call and the dog came that afternoon and I have had a pretty and smart Australian Shepherd ever since. He is sometimes a pain, but he is good company. His old home is only about a quarter mile from the back of my woods and he shows no interest in going back to his old home... Gene
