What kind of a project would you come up with? I have always wanted to restore a '50s era Chevy pickup, but install an allis diesel engine (why not-it would be original for sure)! My dad worked for an allis dealer in his younger days, and he always suggested the D17 diesel motor. Today, I found an old Gleaner M with a diesel engine-less than $3000-not cheap for just the motor, but remember the rules here. I did some research on that engine, and found out it is a 6 cylinder, 301T putting out 109 horse power! I think that would be a sweet rig! I wonder what one would have to do to the hood to make it fit?
