An in-frame might be appropriate when you have owned the tractor since new or for many years and know when the seals, clutch, throw out bearing, etc, etc. were serviced and HOW they were serviced. When you buy a used tractor and plan an in-frame, you are "trying to wash your feet with your boots on" IMHO. Tom
