We have been very lucky, in that my inlaws come out and stay at the place when we go away. Years back, I changed shifts somewhat frequently, and i was frequently home during the day. I had 2 occasions of surprising strangers. The 1st time a group of kids, - 18 - low 20's pulled into the drive. I walked out from behind the garage, and everybody froze. There were 3 young guys and one girl. I reconized the girl as having been the previous owners daughter. They were very surprised to see me. Everybody jumped back into the car, and i talked to her for a minute, she said she justwas showing her friends her old house. Funny they didn't want to stay... The 2nd incident, a junk collector was eying my "treasures". I told him to leave, NOW! he didn't question that.
