It looks like it's finally time to start shopping for a tractor. I've got some specific needs for it, and I'm looking for suggestions on which model(s) to shop for. Here's what I need it to do: 1) I'm working with planting beds that are 60" wide by 200' long, so it'll need a wide front end, and the wheels will need to be about 72" apart to give me clearance on each side. 2) I need it to pull some specific tools - a 60" wide rototiller, a 6-8' wide grain drill, a manure spreader, and various wagons. The rototiller would probably be the heaviest load. 3) I'd like it to be diesel if possible. 4) I'd like it to have, or accept, a bucket on the front end and a backhoe and fence auger on the back. Those are wants, not needs. I'm figuring about 35-40hp would be sufficient, so something in that range. Also looking for something with easy access to replacement parts. Any suggestions on which tractor models fit all those requirements? Thanks all. I've really learned a lot on this site and hopefully soon it'll all pay off.
