It is the 2.5 4 cylinder and this is the second time it has happened, cant keep any antifreeze in, just keeps pushing it out, haven't yet had the money to get it torn down but it is acting just like last time and when it was torn down the head was cracked. This Olds last year I had the head gasket go out in and acted just the same way but new gaskets and a slight surfacing the head took care of that problem. Used to have a 88 Caravan and when I got rid of it the engine had no oil preasure left and ran like the lobs on the cam on 2 cylinders were partialy gone. Wanted to redo or replace engine but wife said no, still wish I had that van. I ran the vans (Also an 85 2.6) for several years on the route but traffic picked up to where I had to switch to an auto that I could reach out the right window to put the papers in the boxes. Had a rusted out 85 rustbucket Cira that I ran for a year as well.
