Hi Old, Naaaaw, "course we didn"t miss you. Enjoyed the rest from all your posts! Seriously though, glad you are OK, back on line and no real serious problems - yeah the roof can be fixed - I was meaning people. We are never really properly prepared for every eventuality, but I guess you are pretty adept at getting by when in a jam. The clearing up is often worse than the emergency repairs and will take some time and effort. Hope your lounge is a single storey, or it could be a big mess in the room above! Anyhows, glad to see you back and just get out there and get that genny rigged up proper, ready for the next time. Windy in the UK but too damn warm, so far, for a winter period.
