As a boy in Boy Scouts learning respect for the flag was right up there at the top of things to do. I agree that it hurts me to see the ignorance of people who want to fly the flag, but haven't taken time to read on how to do it or just don't care. The not flying at half mast is the same to me as flying it at night without a light on it. ( I put mine up in the morning an take it down at night.)
