The Flag is flown at Half-mast for different lengths of time for different people. The longest length of time is for a President, which is 30 days.It decreases down to the day after the funeral for most. After 9/11, boys from both football teams raised the flag to half-mast at our first home game.I was amazed that they weren't told the proper way to do it,and raised it to half-mast and stopped. You are supposed to raise it to full-mast,then lower it to half-mast.A few Am.Legion members were upset about it,but now at the Veterns Day program,Proper flag handling is taught.John.
