It's all a direct result of those "made in china" parts. I don't think you can buy a new vehicle of any brand today that will not have some quality or safety issues. Hopefully those issues will show up as a recall, or at least before the warranty expires, but quite often those issues don't expose themselves until just after the warranty runs out. It's too bad the mfgrs. won't still build them with pride like they used to do back in the '50s and '60s.
