Lots of things. Temperature sender unit (transducer), fanblades on back to front, fan belt slack or worn, water pump bearings, blocked air passages in radiator, blocked water passages in radiator. Assuming you are using tractor with hood closed and idling with hood open. Carburation, timing or air leak into the inlet manifold if it is a gas engine. Could be others. First you need to know what the engine coolant temperature is when the guage reads high. May be no problem at all. Sugggestions for repair? Find whether there is a problem, then what it is, then repair it. Regards, RAB
