My 1947 ferguson all petrol won't start

I grandfather bought the tractor brand new in 1947. When the massey ferguson 35x first come out he bought one of them. So the ferguson kinda got the elbow and was parked in the field and lay there for some time. Part and different bits and bobs went missing and didn't even begin to look like a tractor. So when my granda passed away i got the idea of restoring it. I have all the parts on it but the only problem is that the tractor won't start. I think it is something to do with the wiring system. Please could help me
