I thought it was more of a case of soccer moms and insecure males driving diesel burning 3/4 ton and heavier SUVs and crew cabs as grocery getters instead of Camrys and Accords. 15 years ago only a few people used diesel burning light trucks, now your dentist, doctor or UAW worker has one to tow his boat to the lake. As for your Iraq idea, the US does not ship refined fuel to Iraq, its a lot cheaper to buy it in Kuwait, about .18 per liter at the pump.

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
